India to host virtual G-20 summit today, Canada PM Trudeau to attend

New Delhi: India will host the virtual G-20 Summit today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Canada has confirmed Trudeau’s participation in the summit. This is the first time that Trudeau and Prime Minister Modi will be face-to-face despite the ongoing diplomatic tensions between Canada and India. 
     Russia has also confirmed Putin’s participation in the G-20 summit. China has announced that Premier Li Keqiang will participate in the virtual summit of G-20 leaders at the invitation of India.
