Toronto: A 44-year-old Indian-origin man has been charged with stabbing to death a Sikh woman in The City of Brampton, Canada.
Nav Nishan Singh stabbed Davinder Kaur, 43, to death at Sparrow Park in Brampton city on Friday, police said in a statement on Friday.
Police said the accused was arrested some distance away from the crime scene. The accused has been charged with first-degree murder. According to Constable Tyler Bell, the two knew each other, but the reason for the murder is not yet clear.
