Main accused in Nabha jailbreak case being brought to India from Hong Kong

New Delhi: Ramanjeet Singh Romi, the main accused in the Nabha jailbreak case, was arrested in Hong Kong in 2016. After this, Punjab had taken up the matter with the Central Government and at the same time the process of his extradition was started.

But a long legal battle was fought from the Indian side to bring him to India from there. A Red Corner Notice has been issued against Ramanjeet Romi. Romi has cases registered against him in different districts of Punjab.
