Pakistan knocked out of T20 World Cup as USA vs IRE match gets called off

New Delhi: The 30th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 between the United States and Ireland washed off due to heavy rain. Following this, USA has qualified for the super 8 and Pakistan was eliminated from the T20 World Cup.

This match was being held at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida.

Pertinent it was required that a minimum of five overs per side is necessary for a result. Considering the rain, an extra 90 minutes has been allocated for the T20 World Cup matches. However, the match finally has been called off.
