PCB lodges complaint with ICC over missing Pakistan name from India vs Bangladesh live broadcast

Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged a complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) after Pakistan’s name was omitted from the Champions Trophy match logo during the India-Bangladesh game in Dubai.

According to PCB sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) admitted the mistake and assured that a three-line logo, including Pakistan’s name, will be used in all Dubai matches.

India, citing security concerns, is playing its matches in Dubai under a hybrid model instead of traveling to Pakistan.

A PCB source confirmed that a formal letter had been sent to the ICC, urging action on the issue. The ICC has assured the PCB that the corrected logo will be used in all Dubai matches, as was done in Karachi fixtures on February 19 and 21.

The omission was first noticed during the India-Bangladesh match, where the top-left corner of the broadcast displayed only “Champions Trophy 2025,” without mentioning host Pakistan. The issue gained attention ahead of the high-profile India-Pakistan clash in Dubai on Sunday.
