PM Modi calls for global cooperation on AI governance at summit with Macron

Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday emphasized the need for collective global efforts to establish governance and standards for artificial intelligence (AI) to uphold shared values and address potential risks.

Co-chairing the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit with French President Emmanuel Macron, Modi highlighted AI’s transformative impact on politics, the economy, security, and society.

“There is a need for collective global efforts to uphold our shared values, address risks, and establish confidence-building governance and standards,” he stated.

The summit focused on fostering international collaboration to ensure ethical AI development and deployment.
