PM Modi meets Elon Musk at Blair House during US visit

Washington: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla and SpaceX owner Elon Musk at Blair House, located just 100 meters from the White House.

Modi was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, India’s Ambassador to the US Vinay Kawatra, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. Musk was joined by his family members.

The meeting follows their previous encounter at Tesla’s office in San Jose during Modi’s visit to the US in 2015, where Musk gave the Indian leader a tour of his facility.

Modi, who arrived in the US from France yesterday, also met National Security Advisor Mike Waltz at Blair House. Additionally, he met Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday, who was recently appointed as director of national intelligence by President Donald Trump.
