Punjab government recommends closure of social media platforms for six days, read why

Islamabad: The Punjab government has recommended the closure of all social media platforms for six days in view of Muharram. YouTube, WhatsApp, Twitter, TikTok will be banned from July 13 to 18 during the Islamic month.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Law and Peace Committee has recommended a ban on the sixth to eleventh day of Muharram. This government has also shut down Twitter for some time.
