Punjabi man pleads guilty to murdering his 21-year-old friend in Australia

Melbourne: The 21-year-old has pleaded guilty to the murder of his ex-girlfriend. The girl’s body was found in South Australia in March 2021. Tarikjot Singh was accused of abducting and killing 21-year-old Jasmeen Kaur before dumping her body in a grave in the Flinders Range, 430 km from Adelaide, where she was last seen.

Tarikjot had not pleaded guilty earlier. The matter will be heard again in April. The minimum punishment for the accused can be up to 20 years without parole.
