Referendum by Sikhs for Justice in Melbourne
Melbourne: Voting for the Khalistan referendum was held today near the Federation Square, Melbourne’s main square. Although some local Sikh bodies did not come out in the open in this referendum organized on the invitation of Sikhs for Justice, but despite this, people from different classes registered their opinion through ballot papers.
Sikhs for Justice had been propagating the referendum in the city for the past few weeks.
In this regard, the organization also took out a rally, which was opposed by a section of local Indian organizations. Similarly, today, when some youths came to oppose the referendum with the Indian flag, people chased them away with sticks.
