Russian President Putin to visit India following PM Modi’s invitation

New Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India soon, with the Kremlin confirming ongoing discussions to finalize the dates. A formal announcement regarding his visit is expected shortly.

Russia’s Ambassador to the United States, Anatoly Antonov, highlighted the annual bilateral meeting agreement between the two nations, emphasizing that it is now Putin’s turn to visit after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent trip to Russia.

“India and Russia maintain a tradition of holding annual meetings. We have received an invitation from Prime Minister Modi, and positive steps are being taken to finalize the visit,” Antonov said, adding that the schedule will be announced early next year.
