S Jaishankar to go on six-day visit to the US

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is set to visit the United States from December 24 to 29, marking India’s first high-level engagement with the US following Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election.

During his six-day visit, Jaishankar is scheduled to meet his counterparts to discuss key bilateral, regional, and global issues, according to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs.

As part of his itinerary, Jaishankar will also chair the Consul Generals’ conference in the US, reflecting India’s focus on strengthening its diplomatic and strategic ties.
