Several feared dead as plane crashes in San Diego, multiple homes catch fire

California: A small plane crashed in San Diego, California, on Thursday morning, sparking fires in multiple homes and leaving several people feared dead. The crash is suspected to have been caused by heavy fog in the area.

According to the the information, around 15 houses caught fire following the crash. Emergency services evacuated the area as a precaution.

Several images and videos from the scene showed thick smoke rising and homes engulfed in flames.
