Shooting at Swedish school leaves multiple casualties

Stockholm: A shooting at an adult school in Sweden has left several people injured, with local media reporting multiple fatalities. However, police have not confirmed the exact number of casualties.

A police spokesperson stated that five people were shot, but declined to comment on reports of fatalities. The suspected shooter was injured and is in custody, while authorities continue to search the premises for other victims. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

Maria Pegado, a teacher at the school, recounted that someone burst into her classroom immediately after the lunch break, shouting for everyone to evacuate.

Emergency services, including ambulances and rescue workers, were dispatched to the scene. No police officers were harmed in the incident.
