Sikh man, minor son shot dead in gang violence in Canada
Punjab E News: A Sikh man and his 11-year-old son have been shot dead in Edmonton, Canada. Harpreet Singh Uppal, 41, and his son were shot dead in their vehicle outside a gas station at a shopping plaza in broad daylight. Edmonton Police said the two died on the spot. Another boy in the car escaped unhurt.
Police said Uppal was an active member of the Brothers Keepers gang. He was murdered due to old enmity. The murder was related to the UN gang. According to the police, Uppal was also attacked in October 2021, in which he survived. Then the shooters fired several bullets at him, his family was also with him at the time of the said incident. But then his life was saved.
