US President Biden cancels meeting with Arab leaders after Gaza hospital attack

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has reached a different turn. The attack on a Gaza hospital in which nearly 500 people were killed has raised many questions on Israel.
The attack has derailed US-led diplomatic efforts to drum up support for “Israel’s right to defend itself”.
The summit meeting between US President Joe Biden and other leaders in Amman, Jordan, has been canceled. Biden is scheduled to arrive in Israel today on a solidarity visit to express support for the cause. Hamas and Israel are blaming each other for the deadly explosion in gaza’s hospital.
Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said, “Biden’s summit meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Amman will be held in Amman.”
