Young man from Patiala shot dead in the US; family seeks help to bring body home

Washington: Arman Singh, a young man from Kutabanpur village in Samana, Patiala, Punjab, was tragically shot dead in the United States, leaving his family devastated.

Arman had moved to the US about a year and a half ago after expressing a strong desire to live and work abroad.

According to family sources, Arman had been working as a truck driver and was returning home after his shift when he was shot near his residence.

His mother shared that she last spoke with her son the day before the incident, and he was in good spirits. The family received the tragic news from a relative in the US late that night.

The motive behind the shooting remains unknown, and US authorities have launched an investigation. Arman’s family, heartbroken by the loss, has appealed to the government to help bring his body back to India for the last rites.
