106 mobiles traced and handed over to common people: Amneet Kondal

Bathinda, January 30: District Police Chief Madam Amneet Kondal said that Bathinda Police is always ready to curb the world of crime and protect the common people. Under this series, 106 lost mobiles have been traced and handed over to the common people in the month of January 2025.

District Police Chief Madam Amneet Kondal said that the Saanjh Kendras are providing notified services under the Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Public Service Act, 2018 and in case of loss of mobile, a complaint can be lodged at the Saanjh Kendra.

Apart from this, the District Police Chief said that Punjab Police has launched the Punjab Police Mahila Mitra Scheme for the safety and welfare of women , any woman can register her complaint on the PGD portal if necessary. Apart from this, the Punjab government has now made it possible to file a complaint with the police online from home at the Public Grievance Division , Punjab Police www.pgd.punjabpolice.gov.in .

The District Police Chief said that apart from this, Bathinda Police is continuously organizing camps in villages and towns of cities and towns to make the general public aware of the ill effects of drugs under Tandarust Punjab. Under this series, a total of 298 seminars have been organized from 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

The District Police Chief appealed to the residents of the district that if anyone near you is selling drugs or is addicted to drugs, then you can give information about him on the helpline number of the control room 75080-09080, via WhatsApp or phone. He also said that the name and address of the informant will be kept confidential.
