Arvind Kejriwal gets no relief from High Court on arrest in Delhi liquor case
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kajejriwal has not got relief from the High Court in the liquor policy case.
“We cannot grant any interim protection to arrest Arvind Kejriwal,” the Delhi High Court said on Thursday.
Earlier, Kejriwal had told the court that he was ready to appear before the Enforcement Directorate but assured that the investigating agency would not arrest him.
In this case, the Delhi High Court has also asked the ED to respond and file a fresh interim petition. The next hearing of this case will be on April 22.
