INNO-TECH 2025: Engineering Students Display Cutting-Edge Innovations
Pushpa Gujral Science City, in collaboration with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, hosted INNO-TECH 2025 to mark the momentous occasion of the 20th Annual Day of Science City. The event saw an impressive turnout of over 400 students from a wide range of engineering and polytechnic colleges across Punjab, all coming together to showcase their innovative models.
Dr. Rajesh Grover, Director, Science City praised all the participants for their enthusiasm, innovative thinking and determination. He expressed confidence that such initiatives would continue to shape the future of technology and scientific advancements in the region. He emphasized the critical role of science, technology and innovation in addressing societal challenges and enhancing environmental sustainability and economic growth. Further, the event has proved to be a successful platform for discovering fresh perspectives and creating new avenues for technological advancements in the country.

The INNO-TECH 2025 competition concluded with exceptional displays of ingenuity and innovation from the participants. After a rigorous evaluation process by an esteemed panel of experts, the results were announced as follows: Automobile Engineering Category: The team from Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran secured first place with their project, “Solar Power Trash Collector.” Polytechnic Category: The first prize was bagged by the team from Mehar Chand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar, for their project, “Wireless Charging System.” Mechatronics Category: The first prize was awarded to the team from GNA University, Phagwara, for their project, “Robotic Hand.”Polytechnic Category: Another first prize in this category was achieved by the team from LPU for their project, “Smart Air Purifier.” Miscellaneous Engineering Category: The students from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, secured first place with their project, “Sewerage to Sustainability.” Polytechnic Category: The team from LPU won first prize for their project, “Brallix – Text to Braille Converter.” Software Category: The team from Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran, secured first place for their project, “Advanced AI-Integrated Multi-Purpose VTOL.” Additionally, the team from Mehar Chand Polytechnic College also secured first place with their project, “Stock Predictor
