During the event, the Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government has been providing top-tier facilities to government schools and elevating school education to international standards. Reflecting on the promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party, Cabinter Minister Cheema said that significant strides have been made in education and health sectors over the past three years, with plans for further transformative projects in the coming years.

Highlighting the advancements in government school infrastructure, Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the establishment of subject-specific labs, new classrooms, libraries, playgrounds, and upgraded furniture have collectively transformed the educational environment. He also mentioned the establishment of 118 Schools of Eminence and the organization of educational tours to countries like Finland and Singapore for government school teachers, aimed at integrating international-level technologies into Punjab’s education system.

While encouraging students to dedicate themselves to their studies to bring pride to their schools and the state, the Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema also called on parents and teachers to recognize and nurture the talents of their children, likening them to uncut diamonds. Furthermore, he directed officials to plant saplings to enhance the school’s greenery and aesthetics.
