19 youths from Haryana crack UPSC; two secure top 10 ranks
Kurukshetra: A total of 19 candidates from Haryana have cleared the prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examination this year, with two securing positions in the top 10.
Among the successful candidates are 8 girls and 11 boys, showcasing a diverse representation from across the state.
Harshita Goyal from Hisar has emerged as the second rank holder in the All India list, while Aditya Vikram Agarwal from Jhajjar has secured the 9th rank. Shivani Panchal from Panipat, who is currently an under-training HCS officer, secured the 53rd position.
A Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) from Kaithal also made it to the list of successful candidates. Notably, the son of a confectioner has also cracked the exam, adding to the inspiring stories of resilience and hard work.
Among the 19 selected candidates, several succeeded in their second or sixth attempts, while some managed to clear the exam while holding jobs.
The successful candidates hail from various districts: two each from Hisar, Jind, Fatehabad, Mahendragarh, Panchkula, Jhajjar and Sonipat, and one each from Panipat, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Kaithal, Sirsa, and Faridabad.
