New Delhi: The Rose Avenue court has reserved its verdict on framing of charges against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler in a National Investigation Agency (NIA) case related to the killing of Sikhs in Pul Bangash area in 1984.
The court is likely to pronounce its order on the charges on August 2. Special CBI Judge Rakesh Sial reserved the order for framing of charges after hearing the arguments of the CBI and Jagdish Tytler’s lawyers.
During the hearing, defence counsel Manu Sharma argued through a Doordarshan video that as per the video, Tytler was present at the Teen Mortuary House where Indira Gandhi’s body was kept on the day of the alleged incident.
