2 dead, 23 injured in Delhi storm, power supply snapped

New Delhi: At least two persons were killed and 23 others injured in incidents related to the severe storm that hit the national capital on Friday night, officials said. Due to strong winds, trees, electric poles were uprooted in Delhi and parts of the walls fell at many places.

Power supply was snapped in several areas of the national capital due to dust storm late on Friday night. Nine flights had to be diverted to the Delhi airport late in the evening due to inclement weather.
