25-year-old soldier from Sangrur martyred in Kargil
Punjab News: Parminder Singh, a 25-year-old soldier from Chhajli village of Sunam in Sangrur district, martyred while serving the country in Kargil.
He had married on October 2 two years ago. Parminder, a dedicated serviceman with seven years of service. His family has a strong military background, with his father, Gurjit Singh, being a retired Army personnel and his brother, Gurpinder Singh, currently serving in the Army.
The entire village of Chhajli is mourning the loss of their brave son, and the mortal remains of Parminder Singh are expected to arrive later today.
His final rites will be conducted in his native village, where the community will pay their respects and bid a heartfelt farewell to the martyr.
