32 airports to reopen after closure due to India-Pakistan border tensions

New Delhi: The Indian government has issued a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) announcing the reopening of 32 airports that were earlier shut due to heightened border tensions with Pakistan.

These airports, located in northern and western regions of the country, had suspended civilian flight operations on May 9.

Among the affected airports were Srinagar, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. The suspension was initially set to last until May 15.

Officials said normal operations are now set to resume following a review of the security situation.
