4 killed, 3 injured as bus overturns in Shimla district

Shimla: Four persons were killed and three others seriously injured when a bus they were travelling in overturned on the Kudu-Diltari road in Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district this morning, police said.

The accident took place around 6.45 am when the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus was on its way to Diltari from Kudu. There were seven people in the bus.

The bus riders Birma Devi and Dhan Shah died on the spot, while the driver of the bus, Karam Das, and conductor Rakesh Kumar died on the way to the hospital.
