7 Lok Sabha Secretariat staff suspended for breach of Parliament security
7 employees of Lok Sabha Secretariat have been suspended for lapses in the security of Parliament. According to information received from sources, all these employees have been found guilty of lapses in the security of the Lok Sabha.
After this incident, the Home Ministry has also ordered an inquiry into it. The police have also arrested five accused in this case. The police is currently interrogating all these accused.
Initial inquiries by the police have revealed that the purpose of these people was to draw the attention of the government towards various issues. The five accused told the police that they were upset over issues like unemployment, farmers’ distress and Manipur violence, the sources said.
