AAP accuses Congress of collusion with BJP, demands action from INDIA bloc
New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has accused the Congress of colluding with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) amid escalating political tensions in the national capital.
AAP sources revealed that the party is considering discussions with India alliance partners to push for the Congress’s expulsion from the coalition.
The discord follows remarks by Congress leaders targeting AAP and the filing of a complaint by the Youth Congress against AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal.
The complaint, lodged at the Parliament Street police station, accuses Kejriwal of misleading voters and engaging in fraudulent activities.
It also seeks the registration of an FIR against him over his election promises, which were recently rejected by two Delhi government departments.
The controversy deepened when the Delhi government issued public notices invalidating the registration process for two welfare schemes announced by Chief Minister Atishi and her predecessor Kejriwal.
AAP has dismissed these notices as “fake and baseless,” asserting that administrative and legal action will be taken against officials involved in publishing them.
The situation has strained relations within the India alliance, with AAP leaders expressing growing resentment over Congress’s actions and statements.
