AAP announces 11 candidates for Delhi assembly polls

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday released its first list of candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections after a meeting of its Political Affairs Committee (PAC) at former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.

The party has announced 11 candidates, out of which six candidates have left the BJP and the Congress party.

Among the candidates announced in the first list, Brahma Singh Tanwar will contest from Chhatarpur, Anil Jha from Kirari, Deepak Singla from Vishwas Nagar and Sarita Singh from Rohtas Nagar.

Besides, Bibi Tyagi has been fielded from Laxmi Nagar and Ram Singh Netaji from Badarpur, Zubair Chaudhary from Seelampur and Veer Singh Dhingan from Seemapuri, Gaurav Sharma from Ghonda, Manoj Tyagi and Somesh Shokeen from Karawal Nagar.
