AAP, Congress to contest Lok Sabha polls together, seat-sharing decision in next meeting!
New Delhi: After discussions between Congress leader Mukul Wasnik and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, it was emphasized that the two parties will jointly contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
“We deliberated extensively on various issues for the forthcoming elections, and further discussions will occur before a final decision on seat-sharing is made,” Wasnik said.
The commitment to fight the elections together and provide a strong response to the BJP was reiterated, he added.
The meeting was attended by AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak, Delhi cabinet ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, as well as former Rajasthan chief ministers Ashok Gehlot, Wasnik, Delhi Congress president Arvinder Singh Lovely, and senior party leaders Salman Khurshid and Mohan Prakash.
