AAP files complaint with ED against BJP leaders over alleged bribery
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has lodged a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate (ED), accusing two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, former MP Parvesh Verma and former MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa, of distributing money to voters ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
Singh criticized the ED for accepting the complaint but refusing to meet with the AAP delegation. He claimed that despite scheduling a meeting at 4 pm via email, ED officials declined to engage with him directly.
“In AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal’s constituency, Rs 1,100 per voter was distributed as a bribe on Wednesday. If the ED conducts a raid on Verma’s residence, crores of rupees will be recovered,” Singh alleged.
The AAP has called for swift action from the ED, urging the agency to investigate the claims of electoral malpractice.
