AAP launches campaign song ‘Phir Laayenge Kejriwal’ for Delhi elections

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday unveiled the party’s campaign song for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The Election Commission is expected to announce the election dates later today.

The 3:29-minute song, titled Phir Laayenge Kejriwal, highlights AAP’s achievements during its tenure in the Delhi government. The song underscores the importance of continuity in governance, aiming to strike an emotional chord with voters.

Speaking at the launch, Kejriwal said, “We take our elections like festivals, and people eagerly wait for our song. Now it’s released, and they can dance to it.” Taking a swipe at the BJP, he added, “I know BJP leaders will also like this song. They can dance to it inside their rooms.”

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, along with senior AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Gopal Rai, and Sanjay Singh, attended the event.

With the release of this campaign song, AAP has gained an edge over its rivals. The party has already announced candidates for all 70 constituencies of the Delhi Assembly, positioning itself to seek a third consecutive term in power.
