AAP opens account in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar: The Aam Aadmi Party has got some relief by opening an account in Jammu and Kashmir. Mehraj Malik of the party won the Doda seat in Jammu region by defeating his nearest rival Gajay Singh Rana of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 4,470 votes.
Malik got 22,944 votes, Rana came second with 18,174 votes and Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardy of the National Conference came third with 12,975 votes.
Party chief Arvind Kejriwal welcomed the victory of the party candidate by sharing a post on ‘X’.
