AAP protests against Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, Delhi Police beefs up security
New Delhi: The Delhi Police has on Sunday beefed up security ahead of a proposed protest by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and workers in the national capital.
Aam Aadmi Party workers started the “Main Bhi Kejriwal” campaign. Under this, AAP workers protested in small groups at important intersections of Delhi with big banners.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday decided to take out a candlelight march and burn effigies of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre against the arrest of party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
