AAP to contest alone in Haryana assembly polls
Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today announced that it will contest the upcoming Assembly elections in Haryana on its own. In the Haryana Lok Sabha elections, the AAP had contested one seat in alliance with the Congress.
Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak, Mann said the AAP has decided to contest the Haryana Assembly polls with full force.
He said he has governments in Delhi and Punjab.
Mann said the AAP will fight the polls in a team and defeat the double-engine government in Haryana, which ruled for 10 years, as the people of Haryana want change.
This time, AAP will contest all the 90 assembly seats in Haryana alone.
