Adani-Hindenburg case: We won’t impose any restrictions on media: Supreme Court
New Delhi: The Supreme Court today dismissed a plea seeking to restrain the media from reporting till its verdict on the Adani-Hindenburg case is pronounced. The top court had on February 20 reserved its verdict on public interest litigations (PILs) on the fall in shares of the Adani group following allegations of fraud levelled by Hindenburg Research.
A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices P S Narasimha Rao and J B Pardiwala dismissed the plea of advocate M N Sharma, who had mentioned the matter. “We will not impose any restrictions on the media.”
