All-party delegation leaves for Japan to present India’s stand on terrorism

New Delhi: An all-party parliamentary delegation headed by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha departed for Japan on Wednesday to present India’s perspective on terrorism originating from Pakistan.

The visit is part of New Delhi’s diplomatic outreach following Operation Sindhur and the recent escalation in tensions between India and Pakistan.

The delegation will also travel to South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore in the coming days. The move is aimed at engaging with the international community and countering Pakistan’s narrative on terrorism.

The team includes BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi and Brijlal, Congress leader and former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPI(M)’s John Brittas, and former ambassador Mohan Kumar. Hemang Joshi and Barua are also part of the group.

According to official sources, the government is dispatching seven such all-party delegations to various countries to inform and engage the global community on Pakistan’s activities and India’s response to terrorism.
