‘Anti-social’ elements responsible for Hathras stampede: Bhole Baba
New Delhi: The self-styled godman Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba, has blamed “anti-social elements” for the stampede during the Satsang in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district on Tuesday.
As many as 121 people were killed and several others injured in the stampede.
He said in a statement that he expresses his condolences on the accident. Bhole Baba claimed that he was not present when the stampede broke out during the satsang and had left the venue long ago.
He said he has deputed Supreme Court lawyer AP Singh to take legal action in connection with the stampede by anti-social elements during the event.
