‘Apka tone sahi nahi’, Dhankar and Jaya Bachchan exchange heated arguments in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: There has been significant uproar in the Rajya Sabha over the name of Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Jaya Bachchan. Jaya Bachchan has objected to adding “Amitabh” to her name.

MP Jaya Bachchan told Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, “I am an artist. I understand body language and expression. Sir, please forgive me, but your tone is not right.”

When the treasury benches raised concerns over the issue, Dhankhar responded, “I know how to deal with it. Jaya, you have earned a great honor. You know an actor is a director’s subject. You don’t see what I see from here. My tone, my language, my temper are being discussed, but I don’t run on somebody else’s script. I have my own script.”
