Arvind Kejriwal administered insulin in Tihar jail after sugar level rises: Report
New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail in a money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam, has finally been given an insulin injection. For the first time after the arrest of the ED, he has been given insulin, this information has come out from sources.
It was being claimed that Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level was constantly high. Delhi CM’s sugar level had reached 320, after which he was given insulin injection.
According to Tihar Jail sources, Kejriwal was administered low-dose insulin on Monday evening. “The AIIMS doctor yesterday advised to give insulin if absolutely necessary. After which insulin was given in the evening itself.”
He said Kejriwal’s sugar level had gone up to 217, after which he was given low dose-2 insulin.
Earlier, when Kejriwal was out of jail, he used to take 50 units of insulin. On Monday, Sunita Kejriwal also met Arvind Kejriwal in jail.
