Arvind Kejriwal’s car attacked in Delhi, BJP denies claim

New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that the car of its national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, was attacked with brickbats as part of a conspiracy to assassinate him.

The party accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating the attack, claiming the BJP fears defeat in the upcoming assembly elections.

In a post shared on X, AAP wrote, “Seeing its defeat, the BJP is so scared that it has started resorting to such attacks to take Kejriwal’s life. Does the BJP want to avenge the work done for the people of Delhi by killing Kejriwal?” The party also shared a video of the alleged incident on the platform.

The BJP refuted the allegations, countering that Kejriwal’s car hit two youths who were questioning him about Delhi’s development.

BJP’s New Delhi candidate Parvesh Verma said, “Kejriwal’s car had hit two youths who were asking him questions about development in Delhi.”

AAP has been in power in Delhi since 2013. Further investigation into the incident is awaited.
