Asian Hockey Championships: India thrash South Korea 4-1 in semi-finals
New Delhi: India has reached the final of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy for the sixth time. In the second semi-final match played today, defending champions India defeated South Korea 4-1.
The match was played in Hulunbur, China. This is India’s sixth consecutive win in this tournament. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored the most goals for India.
India played an aggressive game against the opposition from the beginning.
It is also worth mentioning that India will play the final match against China on Tuesday. The match will be played at 3:30 pm Indian time. China had defeated Pakistan in the first semi-final through a penalty shootout.
