Atishi to be Delhi CM, says ‘Thank you Kejriwal for showing faith in me’
New Delhi: The name of the new Chief Minister of Delhi has been revealed. In the meeting of the AAP Legislature Party, Arvind Kejriwal proposed Atishi’s name, which was accepted unanimously.
Arvind Kejriwal is going to resign from the post of Chief Minister today. But before that, Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj in the Delhi government says that there is no difference in sitting on the Chief Minister’s chair.
The Delhi Chief Minister had announced two days ago that he would step down as Chief Minister and another Aam Aadmi Party would be put on the CM’s chair.
Significantly, on Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal reached the party office in Delhi and addressed senior party leaders and workers. “My case is going to be long. I will resign after two days. Now it is the people who will decide whether I should sit on the chair or not.”
