Austrian Assault Rifle recovered from J&K terrorists for the first time

Srinagar: An Austrian-made Stair AUG assault rifle was recovered by Army personnel from the slain militants in Keran sector of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Security agencies are concerned about the recovery of the Stair AUG assault rifle.

Arms and ammunition, munitions and a Pakistani identity card were recovered from the slain militants, the sources said.
