BCCI honours cricketers with Naman Awards, Sachin Tendulkar receives Lifetime Achievement
New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) presented the Naman Awards on Saturday, recognizing outstanding performances in cricket.
The ceremony, held at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai, saw cricketing legends and rising stars being honored.
Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense contribution to Indian cricket. Ravichandran Ashwin received a special award, while Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana were named Best Cricketers.
In the debut category, Sarfaraz Khan won the Best Men’s Debut award, while Asha Shobhana was recognized as the Best Women’s Debutant. In women’s cricket, Mandhana was named Best Batsman, and Deepti Sharma received the Best Bowler award.
For domestic performances, Shashank Singh was awarded Best White Ball All-rounder, while Tanush Kotian was recognized as the Best Red Ball All-rounder.
