“Beware of those who get votes by inciting emotions before 2024 elections”: Mohan Bhagwat
New Delhi: In Nagpur, the Sangh organized vijayadashami festival today. Meanwhile, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat raised questions whether militants from across the border were involved in the violence in Manipur. Addressing an RSS Dussehra rally in Nagpur, Bhagwat said, “People of Meitei and Kuki communities have been living together for many years. How did violence suddenly erupt between them? External forces benefit from conflict.”
He said Union Home Minister Amit Shah was in Manipur for three days. Who really fuelled the conflict? It (violence) is not happening, it is being done.
The RSS chief said he was proud of the Sangh workers who worked towards restoring peace in Manipur. He cautioned people against attempts to garner votes by inciting emotions ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
