Bhupinder Singh Hooda wins from Garhi Sampla by 71,465 votes
New Delhi: Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda won from Garhi Sampla by a margin of 71,465 votes in the Haryana Assembly elections.
He defeated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Manju from Garhi Sampla Kiloi constituency, an Election Commission official said. Congress leader Aditya Surjewala also won the Kaithal assembly seat by a margin of 8,124 votes.
Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has thanked the people of Haryana after the BJP’s hat-trick in the Haryana Assembly.
“I thank the 2.80 crore people of Haryana for stamping the work of the BJP for the third time. All this has been possible only because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
