Bizarre: Youths take out a march to find bride, submitted memorandum to the government

Pune (Maharashtra): Raising the issue of gender inequality, the youths took out a march in Maharashtra’s Solapur district in search of brides for themselves. A memorandum was handed over to the officials on the occasion. It said the state government should arrange bride for the youths involved in the march.

Like the groom, many youths rode on a horse to the district magistrate’s office with a band and demanded a bride for themselves. There is a huge gap in gender discrimination in Maharashtra at present. There are 889 girls against 1000 boys.
