BJP releases fifth list of 111 candidates, actress Kangna Ranaut to contest from HP’s Mandi

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its fifth list for the Lok Sabha elections, including prominent figures. Some ministers and MPs have been denied tickets by the BJP.

Union Ministers VK Singh and Ashwini Choubey have been denied tickets, along with Varun Gandhi. Additionally, candidates have been changed in certain constituencies, such as Sita Soren being fielded from the Dumka seat in Jharkhand, replacing Sunil Soren.

On Saturday, the BJP released the fifth list which includes Union Minister Giriraj Singh from Begusarai, former Union Minister Ram Kripal Yadav from Patliputra, and Ravi Shankar Prasad from Patna Sahib.

Former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh has also been nominated from East Champaran, while Vivek Thakur, son of former Union Minister C P Thakur, has been nominated from Nawada.

Kangana Ranaut has been named as the candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. Union Minister VK Singh has been denied a ticket from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, being replaced by Atul Garg.

Jitin Prasada has replaced Varun Gandhi in Pilibhit, while Maneka Gandhi has been re-nominated from Sultanpur.
